A section of exterior wall at a single-story brick office building was badly damaged, leaving collapsed brick veneer, broken sheathing and a damaged window in an occupied professional building.

GIC Construction secured the opening first, boarding and tarping the wall to keep weather out of the tenant space. Damaged veneer was removed down to sound material, and the wall framing and sheathing behind it were repaired before new insulation and weather barrier were installed.

The window was replaced and the brick veneer rebuilt to match the existing masonry in color, coursing and mortar joint, so the repair reads as part of the original building. Shutters and trim were reinstalled and the site was cleaned up for the tenants and their clients.
