Metro Atlanta is home base for GIC Construction, and the metro counties account for most of our work. We also build throughout Georgia for clients with projects outside the metro area.
Every city and county in Georgia runs its own permitting and inspections. The state minimum codes apply everywhere, but submittal requirements, review times and local amendments vary from one jurisdiction to the next. We account for the specific jurisdiction in each project schedule.
For projects outside metro Atlanta, staffing, subcontractor coverage and inspection logistics are planned during preconstruction, so distance does not affect the schedule.
